Who we are
We are a catering equipment dealer based in Góra near Pszczyna, in Upper Silesia. For twelve years we have been buying, selling, renting and repairing equipment for professional kitchens — for venues across Poland and, on request, beyond the border.
The company
Komis Gastronomia is run by F.H.U. DiCo Dick Cornelius van Helmond. The office and warehouse are in Góra, in the Pszczyna district — that is where you can see equipment in the flesh, run it under power and collect it in person.
We work on reliability, quick turnaround and support that does not end with the invoice, whatever the size of the job. The focus is on selling and renting catering equipment: used machines in very good condition, and new stock.

Where our stock comes from
The range comes from venues that are changing. A restaurant swaps its combi oven for a bigger one, a hotel refits the back of house, a catering site closes down. We buy that equipment for cash paid on the spot, whatever the amount, check it and pass it on. We buy outright. Despite the name we do not run a consignment shop and we never sell on someone else’s behalf. That is why the stock looks different every few weeks — and why it is worth calling even when you cannot see what you need today.
Part of the offer is new equipment from the manufacturers and wholesalers we work with. Where used equipment makes no sense — because manufacturer warranty or a specific model matters — we say so plainly and quote for new.
How we check before selling
Every machine that goes into stock is run and inspected for whatever fails first in its group: the compressor and seals on refrigeration, the chamber and steam generator on combi ovens, the boiler and wash arms on dishwashers. If something needs repair we repair it — or write it into the description. We do not sell equipment „for you to look over yourself”.
What that means day to day
If we think a machine does not suit your volume, we say so before the sale, not after. A customer who comes back in three years for a second combi oven is worth more than one deal pushed through.

Inside the EU there is no customs duty, and with a valid EU VAT number we invoice without Polish VAT. Our EU VAT number is PL6381828620 and can be checked in the VIES system.
